Steve Wilson

Co-Owner

Steve is the co-owner of Mid-South Financial Group with his wife, Janice. Steve began his career as a long term care insurance specialist in 1998 servicing the Tri-Cities and Southwest VA area. Steve was the National Rising Star in his first 9 months with Genworth Life Insurance Company, which was given to the top new agent in the organization. In his second year, Steve became a member of the prestigious President’s Club. From 1998-2006, Steve was recognized nationally as one of the leading LTC specialists. Steve helped over 2,000 local families with their LTC planning. In 2006, Steve began building MSFG which now includes agents in 12 states and is licensed in over 26 states. Steve partners with up to 50 carriers to help his clients with their long term care, wealth transfer, Medicare, and retirement income needs. In Steve’s spare time, he enjoys hanging out with his family riding around at his family’s cattle farm with his German Shepherd, JoJo.

Janice Wilson

Co-Owner

Janice is co-owner of Mid-South Financial Group with her husband Steve. Janice has played many vital roles from assistance with marketing, event planning, processing new business, as well as making sure the day-to-day needs are met to keep the business moving forward. Janice now spends most of her time with back office support by taking care of HR, payroll, and agency meetings. In Janice’s free time, she enjoys spending time with family. Janice and Steve have two daughters and one son-in-law, and her favorite place to spend time with her family is at the beach.

Beth Jordan

Operations Manager

Beth joined the Mid-South team as Operations Manager in April 2015. Beth is dedicated to supporting the Mid-South agents who are located in various states and assisting them as they meet the needs of their clients. Beth works in the Johnson City home office where she enjoys the personal relationships with Steve Wilson’s clients and gives prompt, friendly customer service. Beth has a passion to come along side clients and their families and help to ease their minds as they begin the claim’s process with their long term care policies and assist to make the transition process flow easily. Beth’s can-do attitude and contagious smile is felt by all that she serves, both customers and agents. Beth enjoys spending time with her family and friends and especially loves making fun, special memories with her granddaughter.
